A rebrand that unites game dev and tech, shaping the future of digital industries.
Background
Future Games and Changemaker Educations, internationally recognised game-dev and tech schools, have merged under the brand Future Games. The visual identity needed to be updated to reflect both the gaming and tech industries. The goal was to create a refreshed and modern identity that signaled change, while still maintaining recognition among the target audience. As part of the brief, the brand’s expression was also required to have a better balance between masculine and feminine qualities to ensure a more inclusive feel.
Design process
The new identity keeps elements of the original colors and graphics. The old logo was kept as well but made adaptable to fit smoothly into different formats. We created a flexible design guideline that makes it easy to work consistently with the brand’s visual expression, both digitally and in print. The result is a clear and well-balanced identity that keeps the essence of gaming while also creating space for a broader audience within tech. A visual identity that speaks to both current and future creators.
